Geasphere has released a great new video documenting the environmental and social impacts of industrial tree plantations in South Africa. Sweco has won a contract for the architecture, structural engineering and construction management for the rebuild and modernisation of Mondi’s Syktyvkar pulp and paper mill. The contract is worth about €5.4 million. The project, which is supposed to reduce emissions from the mill and expand capacity is due to be completed in 2008.
